Strengthening Talent for the Future
For MMPC, investing in people is investing in the future of the automotive industry and the country. The company has established programs that bridge classroom learning with real-world application, while also cultivating the capabilities of its own workforce to meet global standards.
Through its internship and on-the-job training programs, MMPC has welcomed over 200 students in the past year, giving them valuable exposure across different fields of work.

Specialized technician training initiatives are also conducted to ensure that aspiring automotive professionals are well-prepared to deliver world-class servicing. These programs not only equip participants with technical expertise but also uphold the high standards of safety, reliability, and quality maintenance that Mitsubishi customers have come to expect.
Beyond training, MMPC extends support to schools by donating vehicles that can be used for both instruction and community service. These units have helped institutions enhance their technical programs and, in some cases, have even been mobilized for health-related services benefiting students and surrounding communities. Each donation reinforces MMPC’s belief that mobility should serve a larger purpose—helping people move forward in life.
Capacity building extends to MMPC’s in-house talents as well. The Skills Olympics showcases the mastery of employees directly involved in vehicle production—covering body welding, painting, assembling, stamping, maintenance, and logistics equipment handling, among others. Local champions go on to represent MMPC on the global stage, competing with Mitsubishi employees worldwide and affirming the craftsmanship of Filipino workers.

Safeguarding our environment
Environmental stewardship remains at the heart of MMPC’s advocacies. At its manufacturing facility in Sta. Rosa, Laguna, MMPC has shifted its energy source to a combination of solar and green power. With 9,280 solar panels covering 2.2 hectares of roof space and a capacity of 4.2 megawatts, the initiative reduces carbon emissions by about 3,200 tons annually, a concrete step toward sustainable manufacturing.
Complementing these efforts, employees actively take part in cleanup drives in rivers and waterways, tree-planting activities and waste management programs. These initiatives not only restore natural resources but also strengthen a culture of volunteerism and accountability within the workforce.
For these collective initiatives, the City Government of Sta. Rosa has recognized MMPC for its contributions to sustainability and environmental protection. The company continues to work closely with the local government and other partners to advance programs that safeguard the environment while supporting the community’s growth.
Building the nation, strengthening the economy
As one of the country’s largest automotive manufacturers, MMPC plays a vital role in nation building by strengthening the local economy. The company has been a steady source of employment for thousands of Filipinos, directly and indirectly supporting families and communities through jobs in manufacturing, dealerships and allied industries.
MMPC is proud to produce vehicles that carry both Japanese excellence and Filipino craftsmanship. Locally manufactured models such as the L300, Mirage and Mirage G4 highlight the skill and dedication of the Filipino workforce, who ensure that every unit meets global standards of quality and reliability.
Underscoring its long-term commitment, MMPC has pledged to invest P7 billion in the Philippines over the next five years. This investment will sustain local operations, enhance the provision of high-quality products in the domestic market, and support initiatives aligned with national economic growth and the development of the country’s automotive industry.

For more than 60 years, MMPC has remained steadfast through various economic challenges. By providing jobs, creating livelihoods and supporting communities, the company continues to affirm its role as a trusted partner in the country’s development — and as a manufacturer that is here to stay.
Every initiative — whether in skills development, environmental protection or economic growth — reflects MMPC’s values of excellence, craftsmanship and responsibility. More than building vehicles, the company takes pride in driving efforts that uplift lives and create positive change.
