Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) earned two awards at the recently concluded 22nd Philippine Quill Awards, recognizing the company’s communication initiatives in corporate social responsibility and government relations.


Widely regarded as one of the country’s most prestigious awards programs for business communication organized by International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), the Philippine Quill Awards recognizes outstanding communication programs and professionals that demonstrate excellence, effectiveness, and impact. It celebrates organizations and companies that use strategic communication to create meaningful results for their stakeholders and communities.


Two programs from MMPC were given recognition at the award ceremony. The entry, “DRIVE: Developing Ready Industry Vehicle Experts” that showcases the company’s OJT Technician Program that centers on learning and skills development while ensuring employment of automotive students at the dealership received an Excellence Award for Corporate Social Responsibility.


Meanwhile, the stakeholder communication management that was instrumental in opening the electrification chapter of MMPC detailed in its winning entry, “Two Roads, One Destination: Paving the Way for Local HEV Manufacturing in the Philippines” received a Merit Award under Government Relations and Public Affairs category.


The recognitions reflect MMPC’s continued commitment to initiatives that develop future automotive professionals, strengthen stakeholder partnerships, and contribute to the growth and advancement of the Philippine automotive industry.
