MMPC Officially Welcomes Gateway South Corporation Talisay Negros
Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) inaugurates its newest dealership in Talisay City in Negros Occidental under MG Gateway South Corporation (GSC). Situated along the main road of Lacson Street in Zone 15 Poblacion, it has a land area of 4,200 m2 that shows off a 7-vehicle display at the main showroom and 18 car bays in their service area.
Negros Occidental is the northwestern half of Negros, the fourth-largest and second-most populated island of the Philippines. Known to be the country’s “sugarbowl” because of its countryside being rich in extremely sweet raw sugar canes. But with Bacolod as its capital, the province embraced urbanization over the years. Commerce has taken shape through investments and establishments such as oil companies’ factories, bottling plants, steel fabricators, business processing outsourcing hubs, PEZA-registered IT parks and centers, and domestic and international airports.
“We are extremely thankful and very humbled to be given this opportunity to open another Mitsubishi dealership. This is also very special to us because this is our first dealership in the province of Negros Occidental,” according to Mr. Markane Goho, Chairman of the Gateway Group. “We are fully committed to contribute in increasing the sales and market share as well as uplifting the Mitsubishi brand image. We look forward to more new and happy Mitsubishi customers in this beautiful island of Negros.”
An online gathering was held on February 18, Friday, to officially welcome Mitsubishi Talisay Negros to the brand’s expansive dealer network. Present there was Mr. Goho along with the rest of Gateway’s management and their President Raymund Basubas as well as MMPC managers and executive officers led by Mr. Takeshi Hara, President and CEO. It was also in celebration of the re-launch of Mitsubishi Motors Quezon Avenue which is now under the same group.
“It is no secret that the Gateway Group has a history of success and expertise. This is proven not just by their longevity in the business but also in the way they embrace challenge. Re-launching an already existing dealership with Quezon Avenue and opening in a new region with Negros, simultaneously, is no easy feat,” said Mr. Hara. “We however at MMPC have full confidence that Gateway will help us realize our mission of enhancing the car life of more Filipinos. It is such a delight, that they recognize our commitment to provide customers with quality products and give them the care that they, and their Mitsubishi cars, deserve.”
